How did I become a Relationship Coach?

My journey started when I began to feel restless at my job as a Program Manager in a large University System. I enjoyed my job, and the compensation gave me the means I needed to pay my bills and live a fairly comfortable life; however, I was not feeling that passion I though I should feel when I was doing something I loved. This feeling started me on a search for this “thing” that would give me that sense of satisfaction and passion that I was doing what I was created to do. I don’t want to go into all the details of how this came about, but I discovered Marriage & Family Therapy and spent four (4) years getting a doctoral degree so I can help individuals and couples with their relationship problems.

My experience in this area haven’t only been theoretical and clinical. I’ve had my fair share of broken relationships and I’ve used these experiences to get a better understanding of how my clients are also experiencing their broken relationships. I can empathize with their situation because I’ve been in their shoes. luckily. I also have the research and educational background to understand the “hows and the whys” of relationship breakdown and how to repair them – when both parties are ready and willing to do the necessary work.

I’ve also done extensive study of the Attachment Styles and how these can affect how individuals show up in their adult intimate relationships. I have certification in Mediation, Prepare-Enrich Parenting Certification,  Conflict Resolution and Professional Coaching. I also read extensively on any and every subject area that I feel can help me become a better Coach to my clients.

  • I help my clients to break free from toxic relationship patterns and the prison of other people’s opinions.
  • I give them to tools to be self-assured and confident in who they are, so they don’t feel the need to always compare themselves to others.
  • I teach them how to create and maintain boundaries so that they are not at the mercy of people taking advantage of them.
  • I help my clients learn how to love themselves so they do not feel the need to seek love and affirmation from others.
  • I support them along their journey to becoming the person they were meant to be
  • I help them to become more securely attached so they can navigate relationships successfully.
  • I help them to look inside themselves for the love and affirmation they seek from others
  • I work with couples, individuals, and families.
  • I help engaged couples prepare for the commitment of marriage

Along my coaching journey, I’ve watched my clients’ confidence soar and their heart open to new possibilities. I’ve seen them change right before my very eyes, to become a totally different individual from how they began the journey of growth and change. I see them employ the tools I give them and watch with pride as I see how they’ve evolved.

This is NOT just a job for me. It is my CALLING! My passion is helping individuals move out from a place of stagnation and mediocrity to living a life that is vibrant, fulfilling, and filled with purpose.

What makes me different from other Relationship and MindSet Mastery Life Success Coaches?

I work on the inner and outer principles for success in every area of your life. These principles I teach will help you manage your mindset so you can better handle any challenge that comes your way. What you’re getting is a Coach who has gone through and experienced most of what you are now going through, and have come out the other side.

My main concern is how to get your mindset aligned with the goals you have for your life in order to reach your highest potential. You can be absolutely sure I will always tell you the truth about what’s standing in the way of your success and how to get rid of it FAST so you can start getting results in record time. My purpose here is to guide you to the path less travelled where you face your fears, your perceived inadequacies, and rise out of your comfort zone to break the boundaries that have hinder your growth for so long, so that you emerge from the ashes of self-doubt, fear, trauma, self-hate, low-self-esteem, physical and emotional abuse, feelings of unworthiness, isolation, loneliness – into a place where you stand above your circumstances and decide – yes, decide – how you choose to handle any other challenge you will ever face in your life!  I will show you how to unleash your POWER to decide, once and for all – HOW you live your life. The DECISION is yours, the CHOICE is yours! – Nobody else has that power but you!

What type of personality do I work best with and what is expected of you?

I absolutely love to work with people who are absolutely excited and dead serious about removing the roadblocks in their minds so they can live their best life. I can tell you from experience and show you that nothing is impossible when you change your mindset to believe that you can do anything you set YOUR MIND to. Because of my vast life experiences and now my extensive academic achievements, I am perfectly positioned to assist individuals just like you, who’ve had similar life experiences as I’ve had. Individuals who are committed to their success no matter what, who are super-ready to get going and just want to know exactly what steps to take to break toxic behavior patterns and feel happy and fulfilled again. My clients often tell me – “Just tell me what to do and I’ll do it!” You will be expected to take serious and consistent action. No excuses anymore, just a very different way of thinking and full support while you move out of a place of stagnation and mediocrity to achieve your highest potential and live your best life.

A type of personality I find it difficult to work with and prefer not to (without exception) are the whiners or the chronic skeptics, as well as individuals who consistently make excuses for not getting their assignments done or challenging every aspect of the program. If you are one of these people, I gently and respectfully ask that you not call and I hope you understand why. We’ll probably just not work well together and I wouldn’t want you to waste your time or money. Is that fair?

Our work together begins with understanding your true value, where your power really comes from, how to change the way you see, feel, understand, and interpret the challenges you face in your life. You will learn your Attachment Style and examine how you show up in relationships, how your mind works and how to control it – rather than having it control you. Here’s what you will learn to master:

  1. Who do you want to become?

We get CRYSTAL clear about your goals. We dig deep into your attachment style and examine how you’re now showing up in relationships because of the childhood traumas you’ve experienced.

  1. Release Your Inner Resistance

Mostly you might already know what you need to be doing but yet are still struggling in procrastination, feeling stuck ad spinning in circles. You’ll be learning proven techniques for breaking through your inner resistance, self doubt, limiting thought and behavior patterns, fear, anxiety and all of that “stuff” that keep you playing small so that you can begin taking the steps you need to live your best life

  1. Examine what you’ve been doing and replacing it with new patterns that will allow you to break past these barriers

Together we’ll find out exactly what you’ve been doing to sabotage yourself and work on breaking those barriers and change limiting beliefs. Who you surround yourself with that might be holding you back, we’ll really drill down to what kinds of personality traits, thoughts patterns, traumas, fears, and habits so you can face these monsters and move past them.

  1. Getting back to you

We’ll spend considerable time focusing on self-care, self- love, self-confidence and giving you the tools to reprogram limiting beliefs that has been holding you back.

  1. Demolish Fear and Worry

You will learn how to stop fear and worry in its tracks and move forward when fear and worry rears its ugly head.

  1. The magic of forgiveness and gratefulness to get past hurts and disappointments

You will learn to develop a daily practice of forgiveness and gratefulness and focus on what you want – instead of what you don’t want manifested in your life

  1. Re-shaping the self-Image

We’re going to look at what you’ve come to believe about yourself that is not serving you and retrain your mind to become the person you want to be

8. Examine the power of your thoughts, words, and behaviors and how they create your destiny

We will look at how your thoughts and words have shaped your destiny so far and how to change that.

How quickly can I expect results?

That depends on how quickly you can make those inner shifts. Some clients are ready to go and commit to doing the work , sometimes even in a few weeks, while others have a bit more work to do first. It also depends on the amount of time and effort you are willing to put into each assignment. Nobody can force you to do anything you do not want to do. It’s up to you to want it badly enough to do what is required.

How can I guarantee myself that I will improve my toxic ways of reacting in relationships and start living the life I want, in record time?

Do all of your homework. Be totally committed to your success. Understand that this is a process, a proven one, that works if you take action and implement all of the steps.
