The questions we ask ourselves determine what we focus on.
If we are always asking ourselves, “Why does this always happen to me?” – “Why am I always the last to know?” – “Why is it that I never win anything?” – then, guess what? We will inevitable come up with the answers that will bring us down, cause us to feel depressed, and unworthy.
But what if we ask the question, “What could I have done differently?” – “What if I chose another way of responding to that situation?” Can you see how these questions would steer your focus to a different outcome?
Next time you choose to ask yourself a question, be certain it is something that will motivate you, instead of limit and stifle your creativity.
Until next time, “Feel the FEAR and DO it anyway!”
